On behalf of the Riverside County Transportation Authority, the right-of-way acquisition consultant engaged CSC to conduct approximately 75 Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and 12 Tier 2 Vapor Encroachment evaluations over an eight-month period.
CSC was selected to conduct semi-annual groundwater monitoring, perform a soil vapor survey and prepare a remedial action plan for approval by the Los Angeles Regional Water Quality Control Board.
CSC was selected to oversee and certify that all remediation work was completed in accordance with the Remedial Action Workplan (“RAW”) approved by the California Department of Toxic Substances Control for a nine-acre site.
Following an explosion in a coker unit, asbestos insulation particulates were spread throughout the plant and into the surrounding area. CSC was the first responder to arrive and assess the extent of the asbestos contamination.
